- Plan around 2–3 drinks per person for the first hour, then allow 1–2 more for every additional hour. Buy a mix of chilled drinks and hot-drink supplies rather than relying on one option.
- Count tableware against your guest list, adding at least 10% extra glasses, cups, plates and cutlery. Items disappear onto tables during the quiz, so a small reserve prevents interruptions.
- Print one response form per team for each quiz session, plus 10% spare copies. Also print team assignment sheets and table number cards before the event day, when the printer may be difficult to access.
