Bingo night shopping list
Planning a bingo night means buying more than bingo cards and prizes. You also need enough markers, spare cards, number signs, serving items and drink equipment for the full group. This shopping list covers the supplies used at the registration table, bingo tables and prize table, plus the items that are easy to leave until the last minute. Check quantities against your confirmed registrations before you shop, then allow time to chill drinks and prepare coffee and tea.

Tips
- Buy at least one bingo card per player, plus 10% extra reserve cards for damaged, lost or incorrectly marked cards. Prepare the cards in sorted sets before guests arrive.
- Plan two to three drinks per person for the first hour, then add one drink per person for every further hour. Bring enough glasses and keep coolers ready before the room opens.
- Allow one marker for each player and keep at least 10 spare markers at the bingo master table. Test the bingo cage, balls, microphone and speaker before setup starts.
- Give each prize a visible prize tag and pack the prizes in the order they will be awarded. This prevents pauses while the host searches at the prize table.
- Prepare one serving plate and serving utensil for every separate snack selection, and keep coffee, tea and hot water in thermos flasks so the registration table does not become crowded.
