Tips

Prepare one bib number and at least two safety pins per registered runner, then keep 10% extra for damaged or misplaced items. Sort bibs by age group before registration day.
Plan route marking around the actual course: place cones and route arrows at every turn, and keep barrier tape and crowd-control barriers for busy crossings and the start and finish area.
Provide one finish ribbon and one medal for every participant expected to finish, plus at least 5% extra. Keep prizes separate so they are ready for each age category.
Set up registration with one table, clipboard and pen per active registration point. Bring spare pens, and prepare power banks in case stopwatches, phones or the wireless microphone cannot be charged on site.
