Tips

Buy enough wax for one complete candle per participant, plus around 10% extra for spills, testing and uneven pours. Confirm the candle size before calculating the total weight.
Prepare at least one wick for every candle and keep 10% extra wick cord on hand. Cut the cords before participants arrive so the workshop does not lose time at the attachment stage.
Match melting equipment to your stations: one induction hob, melting pan, thermometer and scale per active station keeps groups moving. Add extension cords and power strips only after checking the room’s socket layout.
Put heat-resistant gloves, scissors, tweezers and stirring spoons at every workstation instead of sharing them across the room. Keep baking trays nearby for carrying warm containers and containing drips.
Plan refreshments separately from the candle area. Allow one drinking glass per guest, two to three cups of coffee or tea per person for a longer session, and place waste bins where used cups and packaging can be cleared quickly.
