Tips

Set up one registration table for every 75–100 expected bidders, with a clipboard, bid cards and at least two pens per table. Keep 20% extra bid cards and printed ticket labels for corrections or replacements.
Provide one bicycle stand for roughly every 5–8 auction bikes on display, plus at least one repair stand and one complete tool case for quick adjustments. Check pumps and tools before the bikes arrive.
For refreshments, allow 2–3 drinks per person during the first hour, then about 1 drink per person for each additional hour. Add 10% extra cups, glasses, plates and cutlery so a busy registration period does not stop service.
