Tips

Plan two to three drinks per person for the first hour, then one to two drinks per person for each additional hour. Add extra water for anyone driving or serving on the quiz team.
Prepare one answer form per team for every quiz round, plus at least 10% extra. Print score sheets, name badges and tie-break questions at least one day before the event.
Allow one table for registration, one for presenting and enough seating for every team. Put waste bins near the food and drink area so used plates and cups do not collect on quiz tables.
Test the projector, screen, speakers, microphone and HDMI connection at the venue at least 24 hours beforehand. Pack extension cords, power strips, a presentation clicker and rechargeable batteries together.
