What to Buy for a Guitar Workshop

Plan one acoustic guitar per participant, plus at least one spare if the group is large or the instruments are borrowed. Check tuning, strings and accessories before participants arrive.
Buy or gather picks in several thicknesses and provide at least two per participant, since picks are easy to lose during a practical session. Keep spare guitar strings available for damaged or broken strings.
Allow one music stand for each player or pair, depending on how sheet music will be shared. Print the music before the workshop and bring extra copies for late registrations or damaged pages.
For a projected demonstration, check the laptop, projector, HDMI cable, presentation remote and power supply at least one day ahead. Use extension cords and power strips only after checking the venue layout and socket locations.
