- Count the playing sets before event day. Have one jeu-de-boules set and one cochonnet available for each active court, plus at least one spare set if equipment is rented or shared.
- Prepare one measuring tape, scoreboard, clipboard and marker for every court in use. Keep the match cards and spare markers at the tournament table so scorekeeping does not stop play.
- Plan two to three drinks per person for the first hour, then one to two per person for each additional hour. Chill them in cooler boxes before players arrive and provide reusable cups at the drinks station.
