A laser tag match runs smoothly when the match itself is only one part of the plan. Before game day, you need confirmed participants, team assignments, a schedule, charged equipment and clear safety instructions. Food and drinks also take planning, especially if registration numbers or dietary requirements change. Confirm the final participant count at least 48 hours before the match. Use it to finalize team sizes, print assignments and adjust food, drinks and seating.
Charge and test every laser tag gun, vest and battery charger the day before. Pack extension cords and check that spare power is available where the equipment will be used.
Create the team assignments and match schedule before guests arrive, then print copies for the reception table. Leave at least 10 minutes between matches for explanations, resets and team changes.
