Tips

Prepare at least one reserve ball for each playing field and check every ball with the pump before teams arrive. Bring spare pump needles as well; they are easy to overlook and difficult to replace during the tournament.
Allow two to three reusable cups per participant if washing them during the day is not possible. For coffee, prepare roughly one cup per person during the first two hours, then keep thermos flasks available for refills.
Set up the scoring table with one scoreboard, match forms and a pen for every active court, plus one complete spare set. Place whistles, cones and field markings at each court before the first team checks in.
If teams and spectators will wait outside, arrange at least one partytent for every 20 to 30 people in the waiting or refreshment area. Secure tent edges and use tablecloth clips before the weather changes.
Collect prizes, team bibs, signage and printed schedules no later than the day before. On tournament morning, keep a separate box for last-minute materials such as reserve laces, measuring tapes and ball nets.
