Tips

Allow at least one match ball per active pitch, plus one spare ball for every two pitches. Check the pump and needles before shopping; a flat ball can delay the schedule immediately.
Prepare one coloured vest set for each team playing at the same time, with an extra set in the most-used colours. Sort blue, red and yellow vests before the first registration opens.
Count field-marking supplies by pitch rather than by tournament. Mark every field before teams arrive, and keep cones or marker discs available for boundaries, warm-ups and queueing areas.
Buy refreshments based on the full participant list, including dietary requirements collected during registration. Chill drinks ahead of time and reserve enough coolers and hot-drink urns for peak breaks.
Do not leave prizes, competition forms or registration materials until the morning of the tournament. Order prizes early, print spare forms and set up the registration desk with clipboards and pens at least 30 minutes before arrival.
