Tips

Plan one information desk for every 150 to 200 participants, with at least two folding chairs and one high table at each desk. Add a party tent and tablecloth if registration or information will be handled outdoors.
Prepare one clear route sign for each major turn, entrance and meeting point, plus a few spare signs. Bring transport carts so volunteers can move signs, water and other supplies without carrying everything by hand.
