Tips

Pack one complete place setting per traveller, plus one spare: plate, bowl, mug, glass and cutlery. Add cooking utensils before loading food, so they do not get forgotten in a kitchen drawer.
Take at least two flashlights and charge every power bank before leaving. A light is useful outside the caravan, while a power bank still works when campsite sockets are occupied.
Keep the document folder, keys, navigation system and paper route maps together in the towing vehicle. Check the caravan papers, driving licence and insurance documents at least one day before departure.
Load gas cylinders, the gas stove, pots and frying pan where they are easy to reach after arrival. Test the cylinders and stove before packing; finding a replacement at the campsite is rarely quick.
