Tips

Bring at least one playable beach volleyball per active court, plus one spare ball for every two courts. Pack a pump and several spare needles; flat balls are easy to overlook until warm-up starts.
Allow one score sheet, scoreboard and whistle for each active court, with a few extra printed score sheets kept at the registration desk. Pack pens and waterproof storage so wind or spilled drinks do not ruin the results.
For a hot tournament, provide one shaded area with party tents and enough tables and chairs for registration, officials and breaks. Add coolers and reusable cups, and keep drinking water accessible throughout the day.
Charge the portable speaker, wireless microphone and power banks the evening before. Take extension cords and power strips only if the venue permits them, and keep cables away from playing areas and wet sand.
